Q How can I change or cancel my booking?

       A You can phone or email our office with any changes or cancellations of bookings. Please note, we require 2 days (48 hours) notice prior to your pick up to ensure there will be no cancellation fee.

Q How can I extend a rental?
      A To extend a rental, you must contact our office so we can check if the vehicle is available for extension. Please note, any changes to a rental may affect the rate.

Q Is there a fee if I cancel my booking?

A There is no fee if bookings are cancelled 2 days (48 hours) prior to your pick up.

Q What do I need to make a booking?

     A. We require a contact person, phone number and credit card details to make a booking. On pick up of the vehicle, we will require all drivers to be present and provide a valid drivers license. Drivers from overseas may be required to provide their country license, international drivers license and passport. Any vouchers / coupons will need to be provided also.

Q What should I do if I have an accident or vehicle breakdown?

A For any accidents, in case of injury we advise you contact the Police immediately and then contact our office, Central Car Rentals 08 8952 0098.

Q How old do you have to be to rent a vehicle?

A Drivers must be 21 years or over to rent a 2WD, 25 years or over to rent a 4WD.

Q Are there additional charges for extra drivers?

A No.

Q Can I rent a vehicle with an International drivers license?

A You can rent a vehicle if you have a valid International Drivers License or a License in English. The international Drivers License must have a photo of yourself and you must provide you passport also.

Q How does the Insurance Excess work?

A On pick up of a rental vehicle, a pre-authorisation will be made on your credit card for the Insurance Excess amount. If the vehicle is returned undamaged and there are no additional charges e.g. fuel, excess kms, the preauthorisation will be cancelled.

Q Do you offer one-way rentals e.g. Pick up in Alice Springs, Drop off in Uluru?
